Research Theme
We are studying protoplanetary disks, the natal place of planet formation. Detailed structures of the disks are now being revealed by infrared and radio observations using large telescopes, such as Subaru Telescope and ALMA. Taking advantage of these bland-new observations as well as detailed models of the physical and chemical structures of the disks, we aim to reveal the planet formation processes and the origin of materials, such as water and organic molecules, in our Solar System and exoplanetary systems.
