{"id":219,"date":"2019-05-24T11:53:15","date_gmt":"2019-05-24T02:53:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sci.nao.ac.jp\/seminars\/colloquium\/?page_id=219"},"modified":"2019-08-08T08:58:33","modified_gmt":"2019-08-07T23:58:33","slug":"2019-06-19","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sci.nao.ac.jp\/seminars\/colloquium\/2019-1\/2019-06-19\/","title":{"rendered":"2019-06-19"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Title: Tomographic analysis of the thermal Sunyaev-Zel&#8217;dovich effect<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ryu Makiya (Kavli IPMU)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abstract:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The thermal Sunyaev-Zel&#8217;dovich (tSZ) effect is the spectral distortion of the CMB photons due to the hot thermal electrons in intracluster medium.<br>By using the tSZ observation, we can investigate the cosmological parameters such as the amplitude of matter density fluctuation, as well as the baryon physics closely related to the galaxy formation.<br> In this talk we present a tomographic analysis of the tSZ all-sky map provided by the Planck satellite, by taking a cross-correlation between the tSZ map and other observables whose mass and redshift distributions are different from the tSZ.
