In addition, DoS fosters research through collaboration with domestic and international projects, as well as pursuing studies that transcend the boundaries of individual projects, with freedom of ideas and a broad perspective. DoS contributes to the progress of global astronomical research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DoS contributes to the scientific achievements of NAOJ\u2019s current projects, considers the future of astronomy from a broad, long-term perspective, and contributes to the advancement and preparation of future plans from a scientific perspective.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DoS contributes to the scientific output and future plans of domestic and international projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DoS delivers world-leading scientific results by bridging observation and theory, extending research beyond individual projects, and pursuing research with unbounded ideas and multidisciplinary techniques, thereby advancing the frontiers of astronomy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DoS advances the development of early career researchers, including graduate student education, aiming to cultivate researchers who lead with a broad perspective. Furthermore, DoS attracts diverse, next-generation domestic and international researchers and establishes itself as a global hub for career development through active personnel exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DoS promotes exchanges and collaboration with domestic and international researchers, as well as with projects inside and outside of NAOJ.
