Tomokazu Kiyota won the Oral Award at Summer School 2025

 

Tomokazu Kiyota, a second-year master student in our group, has received the Oral Award (Galaxies and Galaxy Clusters Division) at the 55th Young Astronomers and Astrophysicists Summer School 2025. His presentation was titled "JWST+ALMA+Subaru Study on the Extended Lyα Emitters Himiko and CR7 at z~7."

In addition, Yuta Kageura from the Kashiwa Group (Institute for Cosmic Ray Research, University of Tokyo) won second place in the Oral Award in the same session, marking the remarkable achievement of two recipients from Professor Ouchi’s Observational Cosmology Group .

The summer school was held from July 28 to 31, 2025, in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture.
